INDIANAPOLIS – Second-year head coach Al Ready announced the signing of three early signees from the early signing period Tuesday afternoon. Ready added three pitchers as part of his team's 2021 recruiting class.

The Greyhounds added a junior college transfer in Jason Boulanger. The Ontario-native has spent the last two season at Rend Lake College, Boulanger struck out 18 batters in just over 22 innings of work as a freshman. The 5-9 southpaw had an ERA under five last year as the Warriors 28-26 on the year.

The other pitcher set to join the Hounds is Jakob Hughes from Englewood, Ohio. The 6-1 right-handed pitcher from just outside of Dayton comes to the Circle City after Northmont High School went 35-24 over the last two years that Hughes played.

The final early signee for the Greyhounds comes from nearby Greenfield, Indiana. Brady Mundell makes comes to the Southside after earning seven total letters for the Cougars, being a four-year letterman in basketball as well as three in baseball. On the mound as a junior, Mundell posted a 2.90 ERA with 53 strikeouts pitching in just 35 innings pitched as the Cougars went on to win their sectional championship.
