Lauryn Hardoy earned GLIAC Players of the Week honors, the league announced on Monday afternoon.

It is the second time each player has been recognized by the conference, with King hauling in the defensive honor and Hardoy scoring the offensive accolade.

King claims her second straight weekly honor after stopped 19-of-27 opposing shots in two league wins over the weekend. On Friday, the rookie netminder made five stops on six shots, while also grabbing two ground balls and causing one turnover. The Canandaigua, N.Y. product followed that up with 14 saves against No. 22 Grand Valley State, allowing just seven goals to finish the weekend with a stout 70.1 save percentage.

It is the first GLIAC weekly laurel for Hardoy this season, as the sophomore attack registered 11 points in the two victories. The Granite Bay, Calif. native scored eight times over the weekend, including a five-goal performance against the 22nd-ranked Lakers on Sunday. Hardoy also handed three assists, as well as securing the first draw control of her career.

 The Greyhounds are back in action this Wednesday against first-year program Lewis. The game, scheduled for Wednesday night in Romeoville, will begin at 8 p.m.
