GRAND RAPIDS, Colo. – For the first time since the preseason national poll, the UIndy women's lacrosse team is ranked No. 11, the organization announced on Monday afternoon.

The Greyhounds have been stuck at No. 12 for the past six polls prior to moving up in this week's edition. The team remains at No. 8 in the U.S. Lacrosse Magazine/Nike poll, it's highest ranking in program history.

UIndy is now 15-1 this season and riding a 13-game winning streak after picking up a pair of victories over the weekend. The Hounds earned their first shutout of 2019 on Thursday at Northern Michigan, running away with a 23-0 victory. On Saturday, UIndy gained a big lead early and held on to defeat Concordia-St. Paul, 16-11.

Grace Gunneson leads the team with 88 points, two shy of matching
Lauryn Hardoy's single-season record of 90, which was set last season.

The Greyhounds close out the regular season this Friday with a 4 p.m. battle scheduled at Ashland.
