LOUISVILLE, Ky. – With five wins in six games last week, the UIndy softball team (27-9, 8-4 GLVC) climbed three spots to No. 17 in this week's NFCA Division II Coaches Poll, released Wednesday. The announcement matches the Greyhounds highest position in the weekly poll this season.

UIndy remains the lone GLVC team in the top 25. Meanwhile, West Florida (33-5) became the first team this season to hold on to the No. 1 ranking for two consecutive weeks. All told, seven different schools have spent time at the top of the rankings this season.
