BAY CITY, Mich. – Freshman midfielder
Jess Soenen earned the first GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week award of her career on Monday, giving the UIndy women's lacrosse team four honorees this season.

Soenen racked up 15 goals and one assist in three games this past week, including 10 scores in two leagues wins over the weekend.

The rookie out of New Westminster, British Columbia netted five goals in each contest, while adding an assist on Sunday against McKendree. Soenen added five ground balls and one caused turnover, while notching her first free position goal of the season.

Soenen now has 27 goals this season, which ranks third on the team. The middie has scored at least once in each of the past 10 games, and recorded a multi-goal effort on eight occasions. Â
