KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The UIndy track & field teams will be traveling to the GLVC Outdoor Track & Field Championships this week, hosted by Truman State University on Kirksville, Mo. Twelve men's and women's teams will be competing concurrently for their respective league titles Thursday through Saturday, May 2-4.
 
Thursday's schedule kicks off with combined events beginning Thursday at 3 p.m. ET. Find the complete schedule and more at the meet's official home page. In addition to computers and mobile, GLVCSN can be viewed on your TV via over-the-top (OTT) device applications such as fourth-generation Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV and Roku.
 
The Greyhounds enter the week ranked first in the conference in a combined 13 events. Among the league leaders are senior throwers Austin Hogan and Katie Monk, who both sit atop their respective GLVC performance lists in the shot put, discus and hammer throws. Three women's distance events show Hounds at the top of the list, with sophomore Lauren Bailey the favorite in the 1,500- and 5,000-meter races and senior Briana Leonard positioned No. 1 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Last season, the Hounds combined for 10 event titles at the GLVC Outdoor Championships, with the men taking runner-up honors and the women placing third. In February, the UIndy men earned the GLVC Indoor title for a conference record sixth time, while the women finished second by the smallest margin in the meet's history.
