GRAND LAKE, Colo. – Currently riding a 16-game winning streak after claiming the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) tournament title over the weekend, the UIndy women's lacrosse team dropped one spot to No. 12 in the most recent Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) poll that was released on Monday.
UIndy maintained its No. 7 billing in the U.S. Lacrosse Magazine/Nike poll that was also announced on Monday.
The Greyhounds downed No. 21 Grand Valley State in overtime on Sunday, the team's second win over the Lakers this season. UIndy is now 18-1, with its lone loss coming at top-ranked Le Moyne back on March 2.
Boasting a perfect 18-0 in-region record, the Greyhounds received the four seed in this year's NCAA Midwest Regional. First-round action is scheduled to begin at No. 2 Regis (18-0) on Friday at 1 p.m.
