GRAND LAKE, Colo. - Ten members from the UIndy women's lacrosse program received academic honor roll accolades from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coach Association (IWLCA) on Wednesday, highlighted by eight seniors. In order to earn the academic honors, the player must be a junior, senior, or graduate student with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50.Â
The 2019 total for the program is a boost from four players a year ago. Seniors
Clare Difato,
Lauren Granville, and
Laura McKee are repeat winners after receiving the distinction last summer, while
Kylie Backus,
Grace Gunneson,
Genevieve Jablonski,
Sarah Konecny,
Krista Temple,
Lauren Wagner, and
Abby Wilmot join their teammates on the prestigious list. Each player was named to an Academic All-GLIAC squad back in June.Â
UIndy is one of four upcoming GLVCÂ lacrosse members to have players featured on the honor roll. Its total of 10 tops the list, with Lindenwood (9), McKendree (4), and Rockhurst (3) behind the Greyhounds.Â
