Peyton Romig was named the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA)/StringKing Offensive Player of the Week, announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The Carthage, N.Y., native earned GLVC weekly honors on Monday after leading the 12th-ranked Greyhounds to a 15-4 double-overtime victory over No. 8 Florida Southern just two days ago.

Romig was dominant all afternoon against the Mocs, capping the win 43 seconds into double overtime with her fourth goal of the day. The middie also secured 14 draw controls in the win, while recording two caused turnovers and one ground ball.

The Greyhounds are back in action this weekend when they host Lee University on Friday at 3 p.m. from Key Stadium.
