Women's Lax Enters Top 10 for First Time Since 2018

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – For the first time since the 2018 season, the UIndy women's lacrosse team is back in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) top 10, released Monday.

The Greyhounds are ninth in the latest set of rankings, one spot from their program record, which was set two seasons ago. UIndy is now 3-0 after a pair of routs over Lee and Lincoln Memorial this past weekend at Key Stadium.

West Chester and Le Moyne bump up to the top two spots, respectively, and have yet to play a game.

Fellow GLVC member Lindenwood cracks the top five after starting 3-0, including a win over Florida Southern on Sunday. The Mocs – whom the Hounds defeated in the season opener on Feb. 16 – are now eighth at 2-2.

UIndy welcomes in No. 19 Grand Valley State on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. The Greyhounds have defeated the Lakers in each of the past three matchups, including last season's GLIAC tournament title game.
