FINDLAY, Ohio – The UIndy men's golf team kicks off its 2020-21 season with a trek to Findlay, Ohio for the annual Doc Spragg Fall Invite, scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 21-22 at Findlay Country Club. See the links above for live results and a live stream of featured hole coverage.
The Greyhounds return to northwest Ohio and the Findlay Country Club for the fifth time in the last four years. The previous four trips include two team wins at the Doc Spragg, as well as a team title at the
2018 NCAA DII Midwest/Central Regional. Four current Greyhounds were in the lineup for that regional championship, including
Ian Carroll,
Erik Edwards,
Spencer Klimek and
Oliver Mast.
"Findlay Country Club is a traditional country club," noted Mast, a senior this season and a former GLVC Player of the Year winner. "We played there all four years at I've been here, so all the guys on the team know the course very well. The field will be good; Findlay, the tournament host, is a very good team; it'll be our best competition.
"We're hoping to win. I mean that's what we're gonna go there to do. We have no other goals other than to win."
Action starts with a practice round on Sunday, followed by 36 holes Monday and the third and final round Tuesday. Follow
