SPEEDWAY, Ind. – Coming off a
season-opening win in Ohio last week, the UIndy men's golf team will play host at next week's Brickyard Invitational, set for Monday and Tuesday at
Brickyard Crossing in nearby Speedway, Ind.
Â
The Greyhounds will be joined by 10 other schools, including region-powers Findlay, Missouri-St. Louis and Tiffin. A 9 a.m. ET shotgun start will kick off 36 holes on Monday, while tee times will start Tuesday's final round at 9 a.m. Live stats will be available
here.
Â
The event marks a revival of sorts, as UIndy previously hosted a tournament at the Brickyard in four consecutive years from 2012-15. Voted one of America's top 100 public golf courses by
Golf Digest and
Golfweek, Brickyard Crossing features 18 championship holes, including four on the infield of the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway. At par 72 and 7,180 yards, the Pete Dye-designed venue is one of only a few courses in country to host PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour events.
