OWENSBORO, Ky. – The UIndy softball team will head home earlier than planned Sunday as the final day of the Blue Ridge Battle, hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan College, has been canceled due to rain.
 
The Greyhounds started the event – and the season – yesterday by splitting two in-region games. Today they were set to face Ferris State at 1 p.m., following directly by a meeting with Lake Erie.
 
UIndy will return to action Friday, March 5 for a road doubleheader at Cedarville.
