INDIANAPOLIS - The No. 2 UIndy women's lacrosse team (6-0, 6-0 GLVC) was awarded the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Defensive Player of the Week to goalkeeper
Cassidy King, announced by the league on Monday. King tallied her second GLVC honor this season, third career from the Greyhounds' 18-7 win over No. 25 Colorado Mesa earlier last week. The Canadaigua, N.Y.-native's honor last year came when she totaled 11 saves against No. 8 Florida Southern. The Hounds have now won a GLVC Player of the Week honor now for three weeks in a row.
