INDIANAPOLIS – The nationally-ranked No. 2 UIndy women's lacrosse team retained their No. 1 ranking in this weeks edition of the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional rankings, released Wednesday.
The Hounds held on to the top spot with a perfect record of 14-0 in region play. The remainder of the region remained the same with UIndy followed by Grand Valley, Regis, Lindenwood, Davenport and Colorado Mesa.
UIndy hosts the GLVC Championship tournament this weekend at Key Stadium. The Hounds face McKendree in Friday's semifinal at 11 am ET. Sunday's title game is also slated for an 11 am ET.
