REDEMPTION
Last season, UIndy made its deepest run in NCAA DII Women's Lacrosse Tournament in program history – they faced defeat when they crossed with the Lindenwood Lions in a 17-13 loss. This season, the Greyhounds will face the Lions again but this time, they will hold the higher seed and have two sizable wins over Lindenwood thus far this season.

The Hounds come off winning the Great Lakes Valley Conference title over the Lions and hold the best record in program history with a 18-1 record. The Hounds hold a 13-game win streak and are currently ranked No. 2 in the Nation as announced by the IWLCA.

SIZE THEM UP
The Greyhounds have one of the strongest rosters the program has seen in its time, with four Hounds earlier this week earning All-American honors (per USA Lacrosse Magazine) and a gritty eight All-Region honors for the Midwest.

Peyton Romig currently holds down third in the nation with draw controls per game with 11.68, along with Abigail Lagos earning second in the nation in free position goals per game with 1.37. Lagos has recently tied up the honor of All-Time Greyhound career goal leader.

As a team, the Hounds are fourth in scoring offense (17.53) and second in scoring defense (5.00); and are tied for third with Midwest-foe Grand Valley – who the Greyhounds defeated earlier in the season, for a win percentage of .94.

UIndy has held down the No. 2 spot, only under Queens (NC), in the most recent weeks. The Hounds have defeated four top 25 teams this season and will look to down the Lions on Friday  to advance to the Midwest Regional finals that will be held Sunday at noon at Key Stadium.
