INDIANAPOLIS—UIndy student-athlete Dominique Proctor was recently named to the 2022 Academic All-District® 4 First Team. Selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), the program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
 
The power-hitting second baseman is an all-conference and all-region performer on the field, and a 3.92 student as a Nursing major in the classroom. She ranks second on the team in home runs and third in slugging percentage.
 
A native of nearby Greenwood, Ind., Proctor is now eligible for Academic All-America® consideration, with those award winners being announced later this month.
