NORTHBOROUGH, Ma. – The UIndy women's lacrosse team (15-2, 6-0 GLVC) has jumped up to No. 5 in the recently updated ILWomen/IWLCA rankings, officials announced on Monday.
The Hounds earned 447 points from coaches throughout the country and members of the media. West Chester holds the top spot while Pace, Tampa, and Florida Southern sit in second through fourth, respectively.
UIndy returns to action on Friday for the GLVC Championship Tournament at Key Stadium. The Hounds will battle No. 4-seeded Missouri Western at 4 p.m. ET.
