INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy women's lacrosse team holds the No. 2 spot in the second edition of the NCAA's Division II regional rankings, officials at the national office announced on Wednesday.
 
The Hounds (15-2, 6-0 GLVC) sit in second behind Regis (CO). Maryville, Grand Valley State, and Colorado Mesa are in third through fifth, respectively.
 
UIndy is set to host the GLVC Championship Tournament this week at Key Stadium. The Hounds will battle Missouri Western in the semifinals on Friday beginning at 4 p.m. ET.
