INDIANAPOLIS – Audrey Moran has been named the 2023 GLVC Goalkeeper of the Year in women's lacrosse while a total of five Greyhounds earned First Team All-GLVC honors in the annual conference release. Along with this, UIndy landed three on the second team and two as honorable mentions.
Moran, a native of Naperville, Ill., has played in all 17 matches so far this season while corralling 88 saves on a 44.4% save percentage between the pipes. She currently holds a 6.88 goals against average which is the best mark in the conference and ranks fourth-lowest in the NCAA Division II.
Joining Moran on the first team was the quartet of
Joey Fowler,
Delaney Stahrr,
Amy Vegh, and
Anna Ziemba. Ziemba currently leads the team in points (68) while Fowler has scored a team-high 50 goals. Stahrr and Vegh are both leading the Greyhounds with 23 caused turnovers on defense.
UIndy also saw
Quinn Malcolm,
Mekayla Montgomery, and
Jess Soenen land on the second team while
Megan Dunn and
Madison Phillips were honorable mention honorees.
