NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The IWLCA has released its 2023 All-Region teams, and a total of seven student-athletes from UIndy have landed on either the first or second team. With this, these seven are now eligible to be named to the All-American team which will be announced on May 18.
 
Finding a spot on the first team was the quartet of Joey Fowler, Audrey Moran, Amy Vegh, and Anna Ziemba. The Greyhounds also saw the trio of Quinn Malcolm, Mekayla Montgomery, and Delaney Stahrr collect second team honors.
 
Five of the seven honored earn IWLCA All-Region accolades for the first time in their career. Malcolm and Montgomery were All-Region a season ago.
 
The USA Lacrosse Magazine also released its 2023 All-American teams. Vegh was a first team selection while Ziemba, and Moran notched a spot on the second team. Malcolm and Stahrr were honorable mention honorees.
 
UIndy will now gear up for its Midwest Regional game on Friday against No. 3-seeded Maryville. Opening draw is set for 5 p.m. ET in Denver on the campus of Regis University.
