PEMBROKE, N.C.—Fresh off making a deep postseason run, the UIndy baseball team found itself ranked No. 8 in the season's final NCBWA Division II Poll. The Greyhounds finished the season with 39 wins and a Midwest Region title on the way to their third-ever NCAA DII Championship appearance.
Led by
All-American Drew Donaldson, the Hounds swept their way through the
NCAA Regional and
Super Regional to hoist the Midwest championship trophy for the third time in program history. UIndy earned its first "World Series" trip since 2012, ultimately falling short in a
thrilling comeback effort versus Cal State San Bernardino to finish the season at 39-21.
