WACO, Texas—UIndy football student-athletes Aaron Barnett and Michael Brown garnered preseason recognition Friday, earning inclusion on the D2Football.com Elite 100 Watch List. Chosen by the D2Football.com staff with input from James Buchanan, both Greyhounds garnered "squad" status on the annual list.
 
It marked the second national preseason honor for Brown, who recently picked up All-America Second Team from the College Football Network. Both Hounds collected All-GLVC First Team laurels last fall, headlining a unit that led the nation in rushing defense.
 
UIndy is set to kick off its 2023 slate at home, hosting longtime-rival Hillsdale on Saturday, Sept. 2.
