NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - The UIndy women's lacrosse team slipped one spot to No. 13 in the latest IWLCA national poll, released on Monday morning.
The Greyhounds split their pair of games this past weekend, picking up their first win of the
Peyton Romig era on Sunday afternoon against Young Harris College by a score of
18-8. UIndy opened the season on Friday against
No. 2 Florida Southern on the campus of the University of Alabama Huntsville.
Three Hounds registered double-digit points in the two contests, led by
Megan Dunn with 14 on eight goals and six assists.
Malaena Michielin, who also secured 10 draw controls over the weekend, produced a career-high five goals against the second-ranked Mocs in the season opener.
The poll marks the 73rd consecutive edition in which UIndy has appeared, including its 72nd straight time in the top 15. The complete poll can be found below.
