LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Led by Head Coach
Melissa Frost, the UIndy softball coaches were voted the 2024 ATEC/NFCA Division II Midwest Region Coaching Staff of the Year, as selected by the region's coaches. The honor marks the sixth time in the last 12 years that Frost and Co., were named the Midwest's top staff.

Ben Ferrell and graduate assistants Leah Buck and Brooke Ebersole guided the Greyhounds during an historic 2024 campaign. Winning a
GLVC regular season crown and a
Midwest Region championship along the way, UIndy hit the
60-win mark for the first time ever and also racked up its highest-ever winning percentage in conference play (.962). This squad advanced to the World Series for the third time, with its two wins in this year's trip also setting a record.
Individually, the Greyhound roster featured
nine all-conference players,
five all-region performers and
three All-Americans; as well as the
DII Pitcher of the Year.
