Greyhounds Picked 7th in GLVC Preseason Poll

INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis women's bowling team was polled 7th in the 2026 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) women's bowling championship, the league office announced on Thursday.

The preseason poll is determined by the league's head coaches, who, per GLVC Bylaws, are not permitted to vote for their own team.

The Greyhounds have started the 2025-2026 campaign very strong, recently coming off the highest team finish in the young program's history. At the Western Shootout last weekend, UIndy placed eighth out of 28 teams, collecting a grand pin total of 8,432, their highest mark in program history.

So far, the Hounds have knocked down 15,383 pins through two tournaments this year, and look to continue the hot start at the Windy City Halloween Classic on Friday, Oct 31.
