BALTIMORE - The UIndy men's lacrosse team rose one spot to No. 9 in the latest USILA national coaches poll, released Monday afternoon.

The Greyhounds split a pair of tough regional road matchups over the weekend, earning a 14-6 victory over then-No. 14 Newberry.

The national poll is riddled with South Region representatives, including Tampa, Limestone, Lenoir-Rhyne, and Wingate all ranked second through fifth. Rollins is also ranked seventh, while GLVC-foe Maryville shares the ninth spot with UIndy.

Lewis (13) and Rockhurst (18) also rep the GLVC in the top 20.

The Hounds return to Key Stadium this Saturday for a noon meeting with Lake Erie College.
