Women's Lacrosse Recognized in First Regional Poll

INDIANAPOLIS - The UIndy women's lacrosse team was listed among eight Midwest Region programs on Wednesday, the NCAA's first set of regional rankings released of the spring.

The Greyhounds sport an 8-5 record thus far, which can be deceiving due to their rankings in the following criteria: first in strength of schedule, second in region RPI, and fourth in performance indicator. Among those in the rankings, which are listed alphabetically in the first release, UIndy has defeated Grand Valley State and Regis, while most recently dropping a close contest to Maryville. The Hounds visit Rockhurst this evening in Kansas City, Mo., before hosting Missouri Western for Senior Day on April 27 at Key Stadium.
