The UIndy women's lacrosse team is making its fourth trip the DII Midwest Region title game on Saturday, visiting top-seeded Maryville with a trip to Salem, Va., and the national semifinals on the line. Maryville has bested UIndy each of the first two meetings this season by a combined three goals.

The Greyhounds are 14-6 in head coach Peyton Romig's second season on the bench, making her return to the regional final since 2022 - when UIndy won its first-ever national championship in the sport.

GLVC Midfield of the Year Olivia Bladon has scored 79 goals this season, good for second in program history for a single season. Meanwhile, fellow All-GLVC First Team selections Amanda Hurry and Hollis Rang pace one of the best defenses in the country with the third-best clearing percentage (.915) and sixth-best scoring defense (8.0) in all of NCAA DII.

UIndy leads the all-time series, 8-3, with each of the last two Greyhound wins coming in postseason play.
