CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association announced its full list of All-America Teams Friday, with UIndy junior Ava Ray garnering honorable mention. Ray's inclusion marked the 11th consecutive years that a Greyhound has received national recognition from the WGCA.

Also an All-GLVC and All-East Region honoree, Ray was a key cog in the Hounds' conference championship win and national championship berth. After winning the Flyer Fall Intercollegiate in October, Ray finished T-11 or better in the spring's final five tournaments. She capped her amazing season with a five-under 67 in the final round of the NCAA DII Championships, vaulting to 10th place and cemented All-America status.

"Ava was our most consistent player all year," said first-year head man and GLVC Coach of the Year Andy Serketich. "She got her first collegiate win in the fall and she had three other good chances for more wins in the spring. She won both of her matches during GLVC match play, and she has been a great leader for our team as well."
