Michielin Garners GLVC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week Recognition

INDIANAPOLIS – UIndy senior midfielder Malaena Michielin has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Offensive Player of the Week in women's lacrosse, it was announced by the league office Monday.

  • Tallied 13 points on 11 goals and two assists
    • Scored seven unassisted goals
    • Reached 100 career points in her college career
  • Recorded a .857 (12-of-14) shots-on-goal percentage
  • Added eight draw controls, two ground balls, and one caused turnover
  • Highlighted by performance against Walsh, registering career-high seven scores (four unassisted) on nine shots
    • Ranks sixth in program history for single-game goals
  • Earns first career Offensive Player of the Week Award
