INDIANAPOLIS – UIndy freshman pitcher Caitlin Bunte was named Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Pitcher of the Week in softball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

• Helped UIndy go 7-1 during jam-packed week
• Notched 24 innings over four starts in the circle, giving up 16 hits and just one earned run
  • Tossed three complete games, including one shutout
  • Picked up the win in all four appearances, improving her record to 21-1
  • Ranks second in Division II for ERA (0.99) and third in WHIP (0.88)
• Struck out 18 and walked one
• Added seven hits, four RBIs, two doubles, and one homer on offense
• Earns second career Pitcher of the Week Award (3/16/26)
