NEW ORLEANS— The University of Indianapolis men's track and field squad ranks 14th in the USTFCCCA DII Outdoor National Track and Field Rating Index (TFRI) Checkpoint Five. 

This marks the 12th straight week that the Hounds have been ranked, not missing the top 25 a single time this outdoor or indoor season. 

Two Hounds hold the nation's top spot in their respective event with Josue Le Cadre sitting atop the 800m and Felix Rivet leading the field in the steeplechase.

With Le Cadre's 13th overall ranking in the 1500m he brings his team 43.02 individual points, while also adding points as a part of the 4x400m relay alongside Lateef Mustafaa, Jalen Larkey and Riley Buroff, who currently sit at 26th in DII. 

Rivet sits just behind Le Cadre in the 1500m with the 14th fastest time in DII this season, to bring the Frenchman's individual total to 39.19 of the team's 123.17 points. 

Alex Meyer comes into checkpoint five with the second farthest mark in the men's long jump this season with his program-best mark of 7.88m, to provide the Hounds with 32.36 points. 

Yanis Le Mouillour also provides support with sitting at #14 in the 800m with his season's best of 3.42.63.
