Hounds Climb Four Spots in DII Coaches Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – After racking up six wins in eight games last week, the UIndy softball team (19-7, 2-2 GLVC) jumped up to No. 20 in the latest NFCA Division II Coaches Poll, released Wednesday. The Greyhounds started the week with a 2-1 win versus nationally-ranked Wayne State last Tuesday and later earned a pair of conference road wins over the weekend.

UIndy remains the lone GLVC team in the top 25. Meanwhile, North Georgia became the sixth consecutive new No. 1 in the coaches poll. There were just five different schools to top the rankings all of last season.
