INDIANAPOLISÂ - The No. 10 UIndy men's lacrosse team was picked on Tuesday morning to win the 2021 Great Lakes Valley Conference title for the second year in a row, the conference office announced after a vote by the league's seven head coaches.
The Hounds totaled the most first-place votes (4) in the preseason poll as well as points (34), the fourth straight season the Greyhounds were picked as the front runners of the conference. Rockhurst (1) and Lindenwood (2) gathered the remaining first-place votes at 30 and 29, respectively. Maryville totaled 19 points and were selected fourth overall, with Lewis rounding out the top five with 18 points. Davenport enters its first season with 11 points in the preseason poll, while Quincy received six points and finished seventh.
The Greyhounds enter the 2021 campaign as two-time defending GLVC champions, winning the last two GLVC tournaments in both
2018 and

The 2021 GLVC Men's Lacrosse Championships Tournament will feature the top four finishers in the league standings and will be held at Hunter Stadium on the campus of Lindenwood University from May 7-9. The semifinals will be played on Friday, May 7, and the Championship decided on Sunday, May 9.
The Greyhounds will kick off their season this Saturday, Feb. 6 in a home contest against Lewis. The two teams will kick off the game at 2 p.m. at Key Stadium.
