WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The wins continue to flow for Marc Mitchell and the UIndy women's basketball squad! The team that opened up the season in slow fashion, dropping two straight, now have gone 3-0 in their last contests, winning their first conference game of the year in Quincy Ill. The Greyhounds visited the Hawks' Pepsi Arena to open up conference play this past Saturday, and it was excitement galore.
Kacilyn Krebs for the Greyhounds was fire that the Hounds needed to prevail as her barrage from the three-point land propelled UIndy to the win. All of Krebs 16 points came in the second half as the Greyhounds won 60-57, making it back-to-back games where the Hounds have won by three. Â
MEN'S BASKETBALL
After starting 4-0, the strongest beginning of a season in the Corsaro era, the Greyhounds faltered when they travelled to Quincy, dropping their first conference match-up of the year.
Josiah Tynes was the leading scorer, breaking a rough stretch of offensive performances, as he netted 15 points in the 62-57 loss.

Football
With football season at a close, the awards have come in and the Greyhounds are heavily featured. For the conference, 25 Greyhounds were selected to the All-GLVC roster, with Chris Keevers nabbing Co-Coach of the Year. Alongside the All-GLVC nods, four Hounds were selected to the 2022 Academic All-District® Football Teams. Four Greyhounds appeared among the honorees, including
Kednal Alexis,
Aaron Barnett,
JaQuan Buchanan and
Brandon Thomas.
Volleyball
The 2022 Academic All-District® Volleyball Teams were announced recently, with
MaKenna Barnhart and
Grace Hegwood both being selected to this year team.
