WOMEN'S LACROSSE
The No. 5-ranked and top-seeded UIndy women's lacrosse team won its third straight GLVC title at Key Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Hounds took down No. 2 seed and 11th-ranked Maryville by a final of 13-8 while fighting rainy weather and a lightning delay in the fourth quarter.

Defense was the name of the game for UIndy on Sunday as the team held Maryville, who entered the contest averaging 19.7 goals per game, to a season-low eight. Along with this, GLVC Attacker of the Year Sydney Tiemann was limited to just one goal (matched a season low) while the Greyhounds also forced the Saints into a scoring drought of nearly 24 minutes that spanned from late in the first quarter and into the early portions of the third.

Prior to the title game, the Hounds defeated Missouri Western to advance to the title game, scoring five in the fourth quarter to put the game away. It total, six Greyhounds on offense tallied at least one point. Quinn Malcolm led the way with six (three goals, three assists) while Anna Ziemba and Joey Fowler each had five.
  MEN'S TENNIS
The No. 5-ranked University of Indianapolis men's tennis is heading to Orlando, Fla. for the 2023 NCAA Division II Men's National Tennis Championships. The Hounds swept the No. 21-ranked Ferris State Bulldogs on Sunday to punch their ticket. Before that, the Greyhounds cruised to a 4-0 sweep over the McKendree Bearcat to make it a dog fight for a chance at Orlando.
BASEBALL
It's now a six-game win streak for the UIndy baseball team, after a walk off win versus Kentucky Wesleyan and then a four-game sweep of Rockhurst. In the progress of the victories, Caleb Vaughn made program history, stealing his 36th base for a single season record. SOFTBALL
It was a 2-2 week for softball, splitting with both Missouri S&T and UMSL. Junior All-American Kenzee Smith headlined game one of the S&T split with a complete game shutout. For her efforts, she was named GLVC Pitcher of the Week, her seventh time earning the honor. TRACK AND FIELD
The UIndy outdoor track & field teams split forces once again in the final regular season meets of the 2023 season. The throwers went to the RedHawk Invitational hosted by Miami University while the rest of the team made the short trip over to Indiana State to compete in the Sycamore Open. UP NEXT
