SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The UIndy women's triathlon team heads west to the state of Missouri for the program's first-ever regional meet on Saturday, hosted by Drury University at Fellows Lake.
As not officially an NCAA championship event, this weekend's regional meet is called the Heartland Triathlon Cup and labeled as the West Region qualifier.
The Greyhounds are the seventh-ranked team among all NCAA DII institutions, as well as the 19th overall program in the country. UIndy most recently
placed fifth at the Prairie State Cup, where Lix Wilhelm and
Miah Sosenheimer posted season-best times in the running and biking portions, respectively.
