Hounds Rise to #7 in National Coaches Poll

BALTIMORE - Fresh off a pair of season-opening wins over the weekend, the UIndy women's lacrosse team climbed five spots to No. 7 in the latest IWLCA national coaches poll, released Monday morning.

The Greyhounds downed then-No. 6 Regis on Friday at Key Stadium, thanks to Kendall Conrad's first-career goal with just 14 seconds left. UIndy rode its high into Sunday's 15-5 victory against in-region Walsh to begin the 2025 campaign 2-0.

Tampa remains atop the poll, while Pace and Florida Southern round out the top three. GLVC rival Maryville cracked the top five this week, with Regis (11) and Grand Valley State (13) falling out of the top 10.

UIndy remains home this weekend as part of a five-game home stand to open the spring season, hosting No. 25 Alabama Huntsville at Key Stadium on Friday at 5 p.m.
