The UIndy baseball team kicks off their postseason play tomorrow in the inaugural game of the 2025 GLVC Championship Tournament at Mtn. Dew Park in Marion, Ill. The Greyhounds head into the tournament as the No. 5 seed in the eight-team, double-elimination bracket, and are set to begin the quest for their seventh GLVC tournament title on Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET against Drury. 
 
This is the Hounds' fifth straight GLVC tournament appearance, with the last meeting between these two squads since 2022 when the team's played twice and split the two match ups with each other. UIndy is 2-3 all-time in the GLVC tournament against the Panthers. Drury took three of the four meetings against UIndy this year, with three of those four match ups being decided by three runs or fewer. 

Both teams also made an appearance in last week's NCAA DiI Midwest Regional Rankings, with UIndy currently in the field as the six seed, and Drury just on the outside at No. 8. With only seven teams in line to make it to this year's regional tournament, this is a crucial match up between these two, as UIndy is looking to make their third straight regional tournament appearance, and Drury looking to make their first regional tournament appearance since 2019.
