MEN'S BASKETBALL
Men's hoops picked up a pair of GLVC wins again last week. After handling McKendree last Thursday, they picked up another win in Illinois Saturday afternoon over Illinois Springfield. The win over the Prairie Stars was win No. 200 for head coach Stan Gouard. Senior guard CJ Hardaway Jr. was also named GLVC player of the week last week for his efforts in the team's wins over Rockhurst and William Jewell the week prior. WRESTLING
The GLVC wrestling tournament was held in Nicoson Hall last weekend. The Greyhounds came in second over the weekend while senior Dylan Faulkenberg picked up his 100th career win against Maryville. Angelo Robles became the third UIndy wrestler to earn GLVC wrestler of the week honors last week for the Greyhounds as well. WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The women's basketball team had a tough weekend in Illinois, losing a pair of close road games to McKendree and Illinois Springfield. The road trip was highlighted by junior Emma Benoit posting back-to-back double-doubles, giving her six on the year which is ninth most in a single season in program history. MEN'S TENNIS
The No. 9 ranked men's tennis team opened up their season with a win at home over visiting Hanover, completing the 7-0 sweep of the visiting Panthers. TRACK & FIELD
The track and field teams were at two different meets over the weekend. At the Midwest Classic at Indiana Wesleyan, Mary Watts and Brittney Clark picked up a pair of wins for the Hounds. At the Fred Wilt Open at Purdue, Senior Hilary Paxson set a PR for the UIndy throwers, placing second in the event. The Greyhounds also swept track athlete of the week awards from the GLVC with Austin Hogan and Katie Monk winning male and female honors from the conference. SWIMMING & DIVING
Both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams remained in the top-five of their polls last week. The men slipped one spot down to No. 2 while the women rose one spot in their poll up to No. 3. WOMEN'S LACROSSE
The UIndy women's lacrosse team debuted in the IWLCA poll at No. 12 last week. They traveled to Vanderbilt for an exhibition last weekend in prep of their season starting in just under two weeks. MEN'S LACROSSE
The men's lacrosse team also received recognition in the polls last week, checking in the initial polls at No. 20 in the USILA poll. FOOTBALL
Postseason awards rolled in yet again for the Greyhounds last week. Dan McHale, Al McKeller, and Robert Williams were all name Honorable Mention All-American by the Don Hansen Football Committee. UP NEXT
