CROSS COUNTRY
A new season began on Friday for the UIndy men's and women's cross country teams as both squads traveled the short distance to the north side for the Butler Twilight.

FOOTBALL
The No. 14 UIndy football team hit the road and opened the season with a win over Saint Xavier Saturday night, defeating the Cougars 34-10.

MEN'S SOCCER
The No. 4 UIndy men's soccer team collected a pair of close wins to open the 2021 campaign, defeating Ohio Dominican 2-0 on Friday and Ashland 3-2 on Sunday.

WOMEN'S SOCCER
Starting the season on a high note, the UIndy women's soccer team corralled two wins at Key Stadium. The Hounds defeated Cedarville 4-1 on Thursday and Ohio Dominican 1-0 on Saturday.

VOLLEYBALL
Over in Alaska, the UIndy volleyball team opened the season by competing in the Seawolf Invitational, falling at the hands of tough competition in Alaska Fairbanks, Alaska Anchorage, and Central Missouri before ending with a win over Biola.

MEN'S GOLF
The Greyhounds opened their fall slate with a third-place finish at the Arendsen Invitational in Allendale, Mich., Sunday and Monday. The Hounds posted to lowest team score of the day Monday, highlighted by final-round 67s from runner-up Keegan Bronnenberg (-5) and Ian Carroll (+12).
