AUSTIN, Texas—Five UIndy student-athletes were selected to the 2022-23 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® Women's At-Large Teams, officials announced on Thursday. Joining Greyhound women's golfers
Catharina Graf, Anci Dy and Elyse Stasil on the at-large squad were UIndy women's lacrosse players
Anna Ziemba and Audrey Moran. The annual list recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The duo of women's lacrosse players were headlined by Ziemba, who secured Academic All-America® First Team honors after collecting a perfect 4.0 GPA while majoring in Biology. Along with her stellar performance in the classroom, she also led the Greyhounds on the field with 82 total points scored while being named a
Third Team All-American by both the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and USA Lacrosse Magazine.
Meanwhile, Moran landed as a third team honoree with her 3.65 GPA in Psychology. This season, she started in every contest for the Hounds and was eventually named as the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC)
Goalkeeper of the Year after notching 116 saves while picking up 18 wins protecting the cage.
UIndy's five honorees matched the highest total of any Division II school on the Academic All-America® Women's At-Large Teams.
