WOMEN'S LACROSSE
Back-to-back! The women's lacrosse team repeated as GLVC Tournament champions this past weekend by dominating the competition in a pair of wins. On Friday, the Hounds defeated McKendree 18-4 in the semifinal before defeating Lindenwood 14-5 in the title game. The Greyhounds will now wait for the NCAA DII selections to find out what lies next in their season.

WOMEN'S TENNIS
Champions again! The women's tennis team claimed its second straight GLVC Tournament championship this past weekend by defeating Rockhurst, Drury, and Southwest Baptist in St. Louis, MO. The Hounds had no problems with the competition, sweeping each team 4-0 in the title run.

MEN'S LACROSSE
The men's lacrosse team battled a tough field of competition this past weekend in the GLVC Tournament and eventually fell just short in the title game against Lindenwood. Despite the loss to the Lions, Parker Johnson netted the 100th goal of his career in the fourth quarter and is now just one of two Greyhounds in program history to eclipse 100 goals.

MEN'S TENNIS
The men's tennis team battled all the way to the GLVC Tournament championship match on Sunday but ultimately came up just short of a conference title crown. The Hounds took down Rockhurst in the quarterfinals and then Southwest Baptist in the semifinals before falling at the hands of McKendree in the championship match.

SOFTBALL
The No. 2-ranked softball team closed out the regular season this past week with some home and road action. First, UIndy battled Ohio Dominican on its home field and earned a non-conference split with the Panthers. Then, the Greyhounds capped things off by going 3-1 in GLVC play in St. Louis, MO. The Hounds earned a series split with Lindenwood on Friday before grabbing both over Maryville on Sunday. Most notably, Lexy Rees was voted as the GLVC Player of the Week for her performances during the week.

BASEBALL
The baseball team dropped two games at Ohio Dominican this past Tuesday before battling No. 8 Illinois Springfield on Friday through Sunday at Greyhound Park. The Hounds fell victim to three losses against a strong Prairie Star team. However, an Alex Vela walk-off RBI single in the first game on Saturday helped the Greyhounds steal an upset win over UIS.

TRACK & FIELD
Closing in on the GLVC Outdoor Championships, the track & field programs competed at the Sycamore Open this past weekend, hosted by Indiana State University. The women's squad brought home a second place finish in the team event while the men finish in fifth. Most notably, during the middle of last week, it was announced that pole vaulter Sabrina Robison was tabbed as the GLVC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the week of April 18th-24th.
